ABOUT LYCANTHO

LYCANTHO is a performing artist (singer, song writer, bass player, guitarist, music producer, dancer…) originally from Kinshasa (Democratic Republic of Congo), grown up between different countries such as Democratic Republic of Congo, Belgium (Brussels), India and living since 2009 in Madrid (Spain). He started his artistic career in Kinshasa with 17 years old as a bass player, since then, he has been playing guitar and bass for several local bands in Kinshasa. Right after involving himself into the music world, Lycantho developed song writing as well as music production skills and started singing his own songs and productions in New Delhi (India) as a member of a band called TONNERRE. Due to his rich cultural background, good control of many languages and a singular voice, Lycantho is definitely one of those who bring fresh air in modern music. With many influences (Pop, Afro, Rock, Blues, Jazz, Seben, Soukous, Reggae, Zouk…), Lycantho’s music is just a very personal product of all of them. This makes the audience understand and feel that his music comes straight from the soul. .
